Dog daycare is very good for Singapore. Frankly speaking, many of us buy the dog out of impulse because these pets are so cute and irresistible. After buying them, we tends to try to give them love and attention for the early part of their lives. As Singapore is a small place, many pets owners stays in HDB and the space for these pets only allows them to rear small breeds of dogs and cats. What is important over there is that, small dogs tends to demand higher level of attention compared to big dogs. Cats of course is a freedom animal, so i will not commend much about it.
Small dogs needs alot of attention and on the other hand, Singapore is always and often not at home and where are we? Usually both the husband and wife will start their own family and home. The sad and material part of life is that both got to go out in the working world to earn money to keep up with the living standard and of course our desire. Sometimes i wander if we really need to earn so much money or is it also planning for the future? Anyway, both the dog owners are not at home for the lonely dogs. These owners often feel guilty to abandon their pet dogs, therefore dog daycare is very useful for these busy Singaporeans.
I also send my dog to my neighbourhood pet shop for dog daycare too whenever i need to attend some events where the place are not pet friendly. Good that the place is neat and not much smelly and hope that they will stay that way. Getting a good day care for your pet is not easy and important that your pet will wanna go back there. Hope that this service will be more available just like kids day care.
More and more people are having pets instead of kids, so i believe pet or dog day care will flourish to a certain level (of course not as great as baby day care). Thumbs up for dog daycare services.
